STORY
Anna Salenko has always loved to paint. Born by the deep blue sea, she first picked up a palette knife at twenty, and art became her way of navigating life’s uncertainties. During a long period of struggle and depression, painting evolved from a quiet therapy into an unshakable purpose.
Today, she is an established contemporary artist, with works held in private collections worldwide and featured in Tatler, Elle, and international exhibitions. Her vision is to create textured landscapes that offer pause, peace, and a return to nature — timeless works rooted in honesty, resilience, and the quiet power of being alive.
EXHIBITIONS
Anna Salenko has exhibited her work internationally, with exhibitions in New York, Hong Kong, Milan, Shanghai among them. Her exhibitions are known for their immersive atmosphere, where each space is carefully curated to reflect the emotional world of her textured landscapes.

TECHNIQUE
Anna Salenko’s work is immediately recognizable through its distinctive use of palette knife and layered impasto. Trained in Russian academic painting, she spent 15 years refining her technique, moving beyond the brush to develop a signature language in acrylics.
Her paintings are built through thick, sculptural strokes, each one carrying multiple colors mixed directly on the canvas. Light interacts with the ridges and shadows, shifting with the viewer’s movement throughout the day. The result is a physical presence that blurs the line between painting and texture — alive, real, and impossible to copy.
